Make sure to tune in this Friday

There’s gonna be no shortage of big races over this coming weekend at Doncaster. However there will be very few battles for the top spot that will be running as close as the one between Havana Grey and Heartache. This race is already being dubbed as battle of the sexes and it takes place this Friday in the Wainwrights Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster!

Both of these horses have been in incredible form this season which is what’s going to make this hyped up race so tight. In trainer Karl Burke’s camp we have Havana Grey. Havana Grey has already claimed victory four times this season in a series of dominant runs. Havana Grey likes to lead from the front and has been winning all these races at a distance of five furlongs. His last victory came at the start of August which he followed up with an attempt at a six furlong race: unfortunately to no avail, and so he’s come right back to what he’s knows!

Heartache

On the other side of the battle we have Clive Cox’s Heartache who’s quickly rising to become a superstar on the circuit. Heartache has already taken down a big win already this year with a victory in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. Unfortunately her unbeaten run did come to an end in her most recent race with a third in the five and a half furlong race at Maisons-Laffitte; however this was still seen as a good run from Heartache. Heartache did return from her trip overseas with a minor injury, however trainer Cox has already assured fans she’s fully recovered.

All in all this looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the battles of the weekend. Both horses are in excellent form with both trainers going out there with something to prove. So don’t miss out on the intense action in the Wainwrights Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster this Friday!
